I went that way, I'm not a programmer so not really sure why this works. Perhaps not so user-friendly/PnP but getting mail server, web server, sql server, likely php and different plugins to all work correctly together is far from user-friendly to begin with so not really a stretch. As you said they could be done over SQL between 2 servers so the plugins should be easily modified to not use DCOM. I don't inventory each & every one in my head. Got something caught in yer throat do ya? Poster said RoundCube doesn't work with IIS & I replied to that.Īs far as RoundCube working between 2 different servers, some of the plugins are SQL-based & some are DCOM. If SquirrelMail works, then only plugins should be fixed. I suspect that it might be safer and less complex thing to use SQL for vacation and password changes, but it depends on the way hmailserver is setup and on used DB backend and user will need custom code to handle hMailServer's salted sha256 passwords. Roundcube hmailserver password driver does only local DCOM and remote DCOM might be paint in something to setup. "my email and web servers are on two separate boxes" and "I need the Change password and Vacation auto-responder to work." Bill48105 wrote:RoundCube works with IIS.Įhm.
